The rules, rights, and responsibilities for using Value8 to track and value your LEGO collection.

Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for our waitlist or using the Value8 app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
Service Description
Value8 helps users track LEGO collections, view valuations, analyze trends, and manage inventory data. The service is available in two tiers:
- Free: Core features with usage limits, including tracking up to 25 unique items, 6 months of price history, 5 VAL-U8 Scanner scans per month, 1 collection, star ratings, and basic lot calculations.
- Pro ($2.99/month): Expanded access including unlimited item tracking, full price and transaction history, 250 VAL-U8 Scanner scans per month, up to 10 collections, full text reviews, saved and exportable lot calculations, and full import and export capabilities.
Subscriptions & Billing
- Value8 Pro is a recurring monthly subscription billed at $2.99/month.
- Payment is processed through the platform where you downloaded the app (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Your purchase is subject to the payment terms of that platform.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Pro access until then.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Refund requests should be directed to the app store through which you subscribed.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. If pricing changes, we will notify you in advance and the new price will apply at your next renewal date.
Free & Pro Feature Limits
Free-tier users are subject to the usage limits described above. If you downgrade from Pro or your subscription expires, your data will be retained but access to Pro-only features will be restricted. Items exceeding the free-tier limit will remain in your account but will be read-only until you resubscribe or reduce your inventory to within free-tier limits.
User Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate account information and keep credentials secure
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
Prohibited Activities
- Unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Attempting to harm, disrupt, or interfere with the service
- Using the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
Intellectual Property
Value8 retains all rights to the platform, content, branding, and software. You may use Value8 for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, Value8 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or loss of profits.
Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve issues informally first. Contact us at value8official@gmail.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be handled under the laws of the jurisdiction where Value8 operates.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts, or remove you from the waitlist, for violations of these Terms or to protect the service. You may stop using Value8 at any time and can request account deletion via the contact methods below.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. If updates are significant, we will notify users via email or through the app when available. Your continued use of Value8 after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
